The success of our golf tournament is a unique blend of GBAWC members' hard work and the generosity of companies and individuals living on Grand Bahama.  The two PDF files to the right show the signs with company logos that were displayed on the golf course and later at Red Beard's during the reception. The following six companies were major contributors to our success and we owe them many thanks:  Freeport Advertising and Printing, Freeport Jetwash and Automart, Grand Lucayan, Juliette Falls, Polymers International, and Red Beard's.  Pictures showing their unique contibutions are shown below.

Freeport Advertising and Printing helped with all our correspondence and made the sponsor signs and banners that were displayed on the Reef Course and at Red Beard's. Thank you Fpo. Advertising for making our tournament look so good! And special thanks to lovely Paula for her creativity, time and patience!
Hole in One dreams were sponsored by Freeport Jetwash and Automart. Once again Jetwash gave players the opportunity to win a 2012 Ford Escape on the 4th hole. Once again... maybe next year. Thank you, Jetwash, for your tremendous support year after year!
Grand Lucayan stepped forward as a major sponsor this year! They provided good rates to the Club for the golfers and gave several rounds of golf for prizes and raffle. The Reef Course is always a grand venue of fairways, greens, and birds for the tournament. www.grandlucayan.com
Juliette Falls donated two 4 day / 3 night packages to the tournament. This stunning golf course in northern Florida is a golfer's dream, and the packages helped us raise big bucks in the raffle and in an auction. What a generous philanthropic spirit was exhibited by Juliette Falls for a benefit far away from their own home location. Thank you, Juliette Falls, we hope that many Grand Bahama golfers come up your way! http://juliettefalls.com
With a corporate committment to education, Polymers International makes a major donation to the financial success of the GBAWC tournament. Team Polymers, pictured above, brings great comarderie and pizzaz to the tournament every year! We love Team Polymers, and don't you love those outfits!
Red Beard's, a popular local 'watering-hole,' once again hosted a post-tournament hors d'oeuvres reception for the golfers and volunteers. The food, donated and prepared by Red Beard's is always delicious and the service the best. Look below for more pictures of the crowd enjoying the outdoor ambiance of this popular Freeport restaurant and bar! Thank you, Brian and crew!
To the right is the list of the many companies and individuals that support the fundraising efforts of GBAWC by sponsoring a hole on the course. Without this support, we'd still have a great day, but we wouldn't have funds to help the scholarship students and local organizations on the island!
Thank you to our hole sponsors!

Bev Hall was the Chairperson of this year's tournament. Thank you, Bev, for your inspired leadership!
The hard-working "Golf Committee"; left to right, Barb, Sylvia, Jo, Bev, Beth, and Michelle. Not pictures are Ann, Christine and Martha. The group of GBAWC members starts planning months ahead of the tournament and not a detail falls by the wayside. No wonder this tournament is considered "Grand Bahama's BEST golf tournament."
IT TAKES A CLUB TO RUN A GREAT TOURNAMENT, and the members of GBAWC all help to make the day both a golfing and financial success. Well done, GBAWC, well done.
We hope you enjoy the pictures from our tournament. Thank you, Karen.
